I get this like 100 times a day every day or night! Pretty annoying Am I the only one? Is it because I am based in Europe? Or because of the number of connexions? No idea. I guess that LI would never answer so would like to know about your current LI experience.

It happens all the time for me also. From what I can figure out the bigger your network the more problems (error's OOPs) you get.

I get that error (oops, problem) constantly and I don't think my network is all that large. LinkedIn is beginning to annoy me on a lot of fronts. We get junk in the form of the news added to the site but meaningful change just never seems to make it. I'm not interested in what the world thinks about a client or former employer but I would like to archive sent invitations.

There is a post elsewhere on the site regarding LI's future. I hope it is bought by someone capable of running it and making it perform better or it will die. One thing for certain, the current crew can't steer the ship.
