Great podcast. Listened to the whole thing.

Day to day I mainly use Linkedin for sales prospecting, but a large part of what I do is to search for someone (not necessarily the guy I'm going to sell to) at a target account, and then ask them who the right guy would be to talk about their requirements. Usually the guy I want to sell to is already on Linkedin, but many times he's not. He's invisible, but he's known to someone else on linkedin.com.

Another good point during the podcast, I've been building and building my network to try to get the numbers up to increase the breadth and depth of my reach within my target accounts, but at 2100+ connections, really I've got all the top 50 guys on TopLinked.com so that's probably as useful as it's going to get, so I'm going to stop spending my spare time, weekends and evenings, sending out invites.

I'll still accept invites though.
