The LIONS yahoo group is hopping with messages. This board has about three or four a day.

The opt-in invite list hasn't been updated in a couple of months now.

Is anyone home?

Is this the new home of the LIONs or is it still the Yahoo group? If it's here, someone needs to tell all those folks on the Yahoo group that we're over here now, and shut down that group.

If it's here, we need to keep that opt-in list updated.

I'm volunteering to help.

It would be nice to see more posts over hear.

Thanks for the tip about my profile. I've contacted Linkedin customer service and should hear something back in a day, they tell me.

This forum is NOT a replacement for our Newsgroup(YahooGroups) ... members can start more specialized discussion that aren't of general interest and also post advice and topics of us to other member which aren't news ... ie there lot's of great stuff that getts lost on any newgroup and members ultimately get bore with repeat discussions ... which is why, over time, over half the Lions stop subscribing to the newsgroup ... if we put "cub questions" "advice" etc over here then the YahooNews Groups instantly improves ... already the YG discussion are better now that introductions, invite discussions, etc have move over to here

On the other hand, it's still too new and there various new apps need to to turned on before we go back and figure out which resource is best for each function ...

Also, no one is offically moderating over here yet ... It you want to be a moderator it always helps .... Probably early Novemeber we will start moderated forums ...
