I collected names of new members during the month of June with th eintention of maintaining a current LIONs email list. After thinking about it I decided tha if you weren't interested enough to make sure your name got on the list why should I bother.

I reached what I feel is a workable compromise.

I've uploaded an up dated list to the "downloads" section of this site. It consists of a date field, all the names I collected in June and a set of instructions. Names on the list prior to June have an inclusion date of 1/1/08. The names I added have an inclusion date of 6/1/08.

Rather than collect names and update the list myself I'll send an email with instructions to everyone introducing themselves and allow them to opt in or out. It is then up to you to check the list from time to time and remember your last download date.

If anyone has a better idea I'm open to suggestion or better yet you can download my list and make the modifications yourself.

Thanks for the effort We are lacking admin work on this site even though there are willing volunteers and I am sure even automated ways this could be handled not to complain just to highlight the need!

Please take Fahad Khan and Justin Balcombe off your list. They are not LION since they give out IDKs.
