Don't you think the way dates are indicated on the Lion's Lair website is a bit confusing?

For example, for today 8 July, 2007, we have

1. 08-07-07 in the "Latest Forum Posts" (European style, including UK i.e. the DAY first, then the MONTH)

2. 07/08/07 on the "Profile Pages" (US style i.e.the month comes BEFORE the day)

3. 2007/07/08 inside "Forum Posts"

Is there anything that can be done about it? Are we "British" or "American" or are we like the Canadians, i.e. BOTH British and American

Good point ... this site is constructed from Open Source components which are created globally ... so yes The Lair is British, American, Etc. much like our membership ...

The point is I've been trying to make as few modifications to code as possible to keep us compatible and minimize problems (we don't have an IT Staff) ... I i've left the application defaults in place which, obviously, seem to reflect their country of origin of the Software developers who wrote the code

Such is globablization

Seriously though, once we have finished rolling out all of the major components to The Lair we'll start addressing these sorts of issues ...
