Hi all,
Just like to make a quick note when inviting.
When mass emailing please use the BCC field as this hides the recipients. Use your own email in the to field.
I was inundated with email from people wishing to connect this morning.
As a result of replying to help those do a 'mass' invite to the list ive had my gmail blocked for 24 hours. This isn't such a hassle but hiding recipents email addresses is just polite and saves a large amount of responses.
We are all mostly listed on the invite lists. But i believe using the BCC field is worthwhile.
I appreciate all you connections.
I would like to send a sincere apology to all those out of office that have a large amount of email waiting for them from the reply to all's.
As stated in the reply if u need assistance doing a mass invite please contact me I won't hesitate to help.
But please be very careful when you list everyone in the To field and check before u hit reply all. Not everyone's at their computer and they may not appreciate the amount of email they find when they get back.

This is very useful information. BCCs also help keep people's email addresses hidden from other people. It also makes your email shorter. I hate having to scroll down through hundreds of email addresses before I get to the actual message.
