I'm posting my opinion on some of the LinkedIn training I have received. Again this is merely an opinion and is not meant to offend or discourage/promote anyone on a product.

Happy About LinkedIn for Recruiting Book: This book would be a good book to sell LinkedIn to your company if you're trying to get a web based research department set up. It has a lot of testimonies, reviews, and philosophy, but not a lot of tips. In fact there wasn't a single tip I found useful after teaching myself LinkedIn and only using it for a short time. This book might be good for extremely new users such as people that have just created their account within a few days. If you're into business philosophy you'll like this book, but for intermediate to advanced users looking for search secrets, you're probably out of luck. However, the free stuff that comes with the book makes the purchase totally worth it (i.e. free job postings and content capture software).

Shally Steckerl Web Seminar: I found this extremely useful and insightful. This guy has some tips that will simply blow you away. His google tips are unbelieveable. No matter how seasoned of a user you are, I'm sure you'll get something out of his search tips. Well worth the money.

On a side note I am not a fan of business philosophy. I see it as a way for people to make money and make them sound informed about their field all the while not aiding the consumer in any way. There seems to be a lot of business philosophy websites labeled training sites tied in with LinkedIn so beware of this if you're looking for actual training ideas.

I've lost interest but it may be just what you're looking for.
