Part of the problem is created by LinkedIN. If you receive what they consider to be too many IDKs, they will lock your account. Unfortunately, this makes the IDK a punitive response. I do not know of a way to retrack the IDK -- does anyone?

I've done what you said, regarding sending them a note. some get pretty nasty. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble. Some are cool others are gaming.
