Setting up an expert or other group on LinkedIn is easier than ever. First decide the function of your new group, optionally set up a website for it and then create the group on LI. Now it’s only matter of advertising your newly started hobby, so send an email to your connections and ask them to join.
As a happy owner of the group you should
list your position in your LI profile, usually group manager or administrator. Your profile presence will increase and you will more likely get new members when they view your profile and examine your positions. Make sure you have the group invitation link clearly placed in your position description.
