Did you know this about women in business?

I read something online

"Fact: Women control more than 80% of all consumer purchases and represent more than half of corporate buyers, yet only 3% of women-owned companies bring in $1 million annually. "

I am not sure how true that is without doing my own research but what I do know is there are many women running internet based businesses and yet when you attend internet marketing events all the speakers are men with the occassional woman!
