Podcasts are the new audioPosted by Diane Corriette in Untagged |
Everything is changing online in terms of technology and how we attract new potential customers to our business.
Audios were always great but static. You had to be on a website to listen to them.
Podcasts however have provided a different way to do things.
A podcast uses a special link called a RSS Feed (really simple syndication) and from that link you can store 1, 2, 10 audios so that if someone finds you they will not just find one audio, they find them all and can subscribe to them.
When someone subscribes they can download each audio individually on to their ipod, computer, into itunes or any other player - so they can listen at their own convenience.
Also an RSS feed can used used on your blog and all your audios under that feed appear not just one. So it is a powerful tool.
A real expert in podcasting is Scott Paton and I am really excited that he will be running a teleseminar on January 17th at 7pm Eastern during that seminar he will cover :
Why your customers won't need a computer to do business with you. And in fact why the 'Death of the Computer' is the next major transformation on the Internet.
If you have any interest in starting to podcast or creating podcasts that earn you an income you don't want to miss this fantastic teleseminar.
