Just in case you're interested in Project Leadership, I thought I'd point you to Beaufortes' Blog.
Project Management has been tremendously successful, but it's success is nowhere near universal. For example, Business IT projects still fail the majority of the time, accordingto Gartner - and this is a statistic that hasn't changed in 20 years!
Another study by ISR research indicated that companies with high employee engagement performed (financially) 52% better than companies with low employee engagement...hmmmm.
