Now that you are proud member of LIONs’ lair, it’s time to make connections to other members. You can start by first downloading the invitation list and then sending out invitations from LinkedIn. Inviting contacts is relatively easy, but requires a few steps to becompleted. I have gathered here some basic steps how to upload an invitation list on LinkedIn.

1. Download an invitation list. You’ll find several lists for various purposes. The best choice would be Accept All list that has members who will accept all invitations from fellow LIONs. Click the Downloads link in the menu to choose the list.
   
   
2. Save the downloaded list on your computer.
   
   
3. Now sign in LI and select My Contacts tab on the upper menu (see pic. 1).
   
   
   
4. Select Other Contacts from the sub menu (see pic. 2).
   
   
   
5. Click Add contacts to your contact list (see pic. 3).
   
   
   
6. Click Other Address Book button (see pic. 4).
   
   
   
7. Click Browse button and select the downloaded invitation list from your computer.
   
   
8. Click Upload Contacts File (see pic. 5).
   
   
   
9. Verify that the upload was successful and click Finish upload button.
   
   
10. The invitation list is now uploaded and you can select contacts to invite. Tick Select All checkbox.
    
    
11. Add a personal note to your invitation by ticking the checkbox. Write a short note and clearly indicate that you are a LION member.
    
    
12. Click Invite selected contacts button to continue. Your invitations are now on their way and you will get first confirmation email messages shortly from fellow members.

Note, that you can upload the invitation list multiple times. Thanks to LI no duplicate invitations will be sent (only if members still have their email addresses listed in their LI profile, though).
