MUST Lions Accept "Invitations to Connect" on LinkedIn from Fellow Lions? PDF Print E-mail

YES and NO ...

Historically, on YahooGroups, the answer was YES.   However, one of the big advantages of THE LIONS LAIR our robust Lion Profiling system.   One benefit is that we can now easily implement a variety specialized preference-based Opt-In and/or Opt-Out Lists.

So, the new answer is --

  • YES -- if you checked the <I Welcome Invites to Connect on LinkedIn> Box in  the <LinkedIn> Tab on <Your Lions Profile>
  • NO -- if you did NOT check the <I Welcome Invites to Connect on LinkedIn> Box in  the <LinkedIn> Tab on <Your Lions Profile>

N.B., You can always change your mind by checking, or unchecking, that Opt-In Box, HOWEVER --

... You may not be obnoxious about it, or complain to LinkedIn Management, if you are occasionally mistaken for a true Open Networker by fellow Lions and recieve a stray "unsolicited" invite.

Also, it will take some time to update the downloadable invite lists, so please be patient if you change your status and it doesn't suddenly start or stop the flow of "Invites to Connect" on LinkedIn
