1) a URL based on your Name
2) a URL based on your LinkedIN Membership number

NOTE: They are both short and go to the same PUBLIC PROFILE -- so either works fine for signatures, websites, forms, etc.

1) Login to your LinkedIn Acct
2) Go to you "My Profile Tab"
3) Select "Public Profile"
3) Select "Edit My Public Profile"
4) COPY from the "Your Public Profile URL" box just above your Public Profile Check Boxes

Note: this URL should have the following form

http://www.linkedin.com/in/xxxxxx
where xxxxx is based on your name

1) Login to your LinkedIn Acct
2) Go to you "My Profile Tab"
3) Select "View My Profile as others see it"
4) Copy the URL of that page

Note: it should have the following form

http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=xxxxxxx
where xxxxx is YOUR LINKEDIN MEMBERSHIP NUMBER
